UNIOSUN Commences Inter-University Transfer Admissions for 2025/2026 Academic Session

Introduction

This is to inform all prospective applicants intending to transfer their studentship to Osun State University (UNIOSUN) that the University has commenced the sales of Inter-University Transfer Form for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Application Procedure

Candidates that wish to transfer their studentship to UNIOSUN should visit:

• www.uniosun.edu.ng or
• admissions.uniosun.edu.ng

to complete and submit their applications. Applicants must provide accurate information, which will be verified accordingly.

In addition, all candidates are expected to forward their Academic Transcripts directly to the Registrar of Osun State University.

Completion of Application Forms

• Candidates are to register online via the University website.
• After submission, applicants must print two (2) copies of the completed application form.

Eligibility Criteria

• For the 2025/2026 Academic Session, UNIOSUN will not accept transfers into the following programmes:
  • Law (LLB)
  • Common and Islamic Law (LLB)
  • Nursing (B.N.Sc.)
  • Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S)
• Applicants must be current students of their present universities. Any candidate whose studentship has lapsed will not be considered.
• Transfer must be into the same course or a related course, provided entry requirements are met.
• Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): 2.5/5.00 as at last session.
• Transfers must fall within UNIOSUN’s admission process window.
• Applicants must meet University and programme-specific admission requirements, including O’Level results and UTME cut-off marks valid during their initial admission year.
• Candidates expelled or withdrawn due to academic or disciplinary reasons will not be considered.
• Academic transcripts must be sent directly from the applicant’s university (student’s copy not acceptable).
• A sworn court affidavit on the applicant’s criminal and disciplinary status is mandatory.
• Any falsification or irregularity discovered will lead to disciplinary action.
• Level of Admission:
  • 200 Level for 4-year courses
  • 300 Level for courses above 4 years (subject to availability of space).

• Carefully read all registration guidelines before completing your application.
• Pay the Inter-University Transfer Fee of N50,000.00 through the Remita WebPAY platform using ATM cards (MasterCard, Verve, Interswitch enabled cards).

Important Dates

• Closing Date for Submission of Forms: Friday, 19th September 2025 at 12:00 noon.
